The engine is now running well, it idles at about 35krpm with an exhaust gas temperature of just less then 400 degrees Celcius depending on ambient conditions. I am currently undergoing negotiations to obtain a replacement power turbine so that I can extract useful power fom the engine.

Below are images of the starter motor that I made for the engine, and the same motor fitted to the engine. If anyone requires one of these motors fabricating then don't hesitate to email me here. The specefications of the modifications are as follows:-

• New rear end cap with bearing journal, machined from solid aluminium.
• 3 piece front cover/mounting flange/bearing journal all machined from solid aluminium.
• Precision ballraces front and rear to allow for high speed operation.
• Shaft modifications to accept ballraces and splined engine engagement adaptor.
• All ballraces, shims, fasteners etc.
• Kevlar reinforced windings and static balancing to rotor.
• Power output of 3.2hp @24volts.
